Work on areas IV 2, IV 3, and IV 4, going "W" from Professor Breasted's dump, with discussion of findings. Work resumed immediately outside "N" door of B 501. Began trenching "S" of the "S" dump.
Work in B 502 EX 1. Well "C" was cleared to level water and abandoned. Last of R'y embankment removed. Dumping started in area "W" of the railway. Cleared surface debris along "S" wall of B 502 "W" into B 502 EX 2 from B 502 EX 1. Started in B 502 EX 3 working "W". Dumed on old dump "NE" of "NE" corner of B 502. Work on "S" area of B 502 EX 2.
Work on construction of causeway at "E" end of new railway line. Work continued on the "SE" quarter of B 501, with discussion of findings. Visitors at the site.
Work in B 502 EX 2. Work "W" in B 502 EX 3 to "E" end of B 502 EX 4. Trenched area "W" or RR embankment for dumping ground prospect. Built approach to new dump.
Stopped work in B 502 EX 3. Began in area immediately "N", called B 900 EX 1. Built railway line from B 900 EX 2 past "SW" corner of B 900 for dump to "N" or "W" end of B 500. Continued trenching "S" for new dump "W" of old R'y line. Worked "W" along "N" wall of B 502 EX 2.
Work on B 900 EX 1. Uncovered sandstone well coping at O, started clearing. Work on "W" end of B 502 EX 2 and "SE" corner of B 502 EX 1. Well at O no longer appears to be so.
