Work on areas "N" of B 502. Found foundations of a building in B 502 EX 4, called B 500 Sub 10. In 900 EX 2, the railway was moved "W". Continued work at Upper Pyramids. Dunham worked on map of B 502 and object register.
Work "S" of B 502, in B 502 EX 1 and B 502 EX 2. In B 502 EX 4, continued clearing "W" of B 500 Sub 10. Work in B 900 EX 2. Finished corners of Pyramid I and examinations of Pyramids IX and X.
Dunham visited Nuri pyramids with Said and called on Mr. Harris at the pumping station. Work continued in east end of B 502 EX 1 and going south in B 502 EX 4. Continued clearing in B 900 EX 2 on north side under railroad. Pyramids I to VIII have been completed. Pyramids I to VI form a unifrom group. Each has a deposit under each corner with 1 gold ring. Pyramids VII and VIII had different deposits. Pyramids IX, X, and XI had no deposits found. Pyramids XVII and XVIII were examined.
Dunham worked on plan of B 502, "E" end and "W" end. Continued clearing "S", "W", and "E" of B 502 doorway. "E" area designated "B 502 EX 1" and "W" area designated as "B 502 EX 2" Started cleaing area inside coping, named "C", appears to be a well.
Dunham made drawings of the corners of Pyramid V, worked on the object register, and worked on the map of B 502. Work continued in B 502 EX 1 and B 502 EX 4. Work on B 900 EX 2 to "gebel" E of Railway line. Pyramid XIX was examined and two deposits found.
Work continued in pit at "E" end of B 502 EX 1, in "W" end of B 502 EX 4, and in "W" end of B 900 EX 2, just "S" of Railway line. Work continued at Pyramid XIX and Pyramid XV. Dunham drew courses of Pyramid IV and worked on map of B 502. Correspondence from Gen. Jackson regarding the pyramids at Nuri.
Work continued in pit at "E" end of B 502 EX 1, in "NW" part of B 502 EX 4, in "SW" part of B 900 EX 2, and in "SE" part of B 501 EX 5. Pyramids XI, XII, XIII, and XIV were examined and have no deposits. Pyramid XV was examined with two deposits found. Dunham worked on measuring upper pyramids and on the object register.
Work continued in extreme "W" end of areas 502 EX 4 and 900 EX 2. Dunham continued map of B 502 and worked on the object register. A pit was found in the "E" end of B 502 EX 1 into B 503 EX 1. Dunham discussed his theories about the pit's creation and its extent.
Work continued at pit in B 503 EX 1. Continued cleanup of surface in "W" part of B 502 EX 4 and B 900 EX 2. Most work was to the "W" and "SW" of the "W" end of B 800, where mud brick walls were exposed from a building of uncertain size that is designated B 850. Dunham discusses room B 850 and compares it to room B 800.
Work continued at pit in B 503 EX 1 "N" and "S" of the previous year's excavation. Serveral compartments of room B 850 were cleared and Dunham gives more commentary about its features and possible use. Two corners of B 700 were examined for foundation deposits but no traces were found.
Started a new railroad and dump, discontinuing the old one to the "N" of 500. Work continued in B 501. Dunham completed drawings of of corners of Pyramids 1 thorugh 8 and continued the map of B 502. Continued work on pit in B 503 EX 1 and "W" wall of room B 850.
Work continues at pit in B 501 EX 1 to "NE, E, and SE" of old excavations. Drainage gutter found during trenching for new dump that appeared to be associated with building B 1236 or a yet unexcavated building. The dump was diverted slightly "W" to avoid the gutter. Work continued in the "NE" quarter of B 501.
Dunham wired Dr. Reisner about the finding of stela. Reisner announced he will depart from Cairo on Jsn 29th. Dunham finished the map of B 502. Work continued on pit in B 503 EX 1. Also continued in "N" part of B 501, with discussion in notes. Work continued exposing the granite stela for examination, with discussion in notes.
Work continued at pit in B 503 EX 1 and in room B 501, with discussion by Dunham. Mr. and Mrs. Clark visited the excavations from Kareima. Dunham finished drawings of puramid corners where deposits were found. An additional stela was found immedietly "N" of the previously discovered in B 501 III b.
