Volume 9, Sudan Part 5: Gebel Barkal and Nuri, 1919, page 19 Dunham visited Nuri pyramids with Said and called on Mr. Harris at the pumping station. Work continued in east end of B 502 EX 1 and going south in B 502 EX 4. Continued clearing in B 900 EX 2 on north side under railroad. Pyramids I to VIII have been completed. Pyramids I to VI form a unifrom group. Each has a deposit under each corner with 1 gold ring. Pyramids VII and VIII had different deposits. Pyramids IX, X, and XI had no deposits found. Pyramids XVII and XVIII were examined. -

Continued clearing pyramid corners in Pyramids 5, 4, and 3. Clearing paused at Pyramid 11 and it neighbors. Worked in B 502 EX 4, going "W". Work in B 900 EX 2. Work in room B 902. -

Communication with Reisner and the Customs Inspector. -

Dumed on old dump "NE" of "NE" corner of B 502. Work on "S" area of B 502 EX 2. -

Dug trenches "S" of line of contamination of mud brick wall "S" of B 502 EX and "W" of railway line. Set up Egyptian camp at "NE" corner. Dunham went to Kareima; talked to Mr. Seftou at Railway Shops and sent note to Col. Jackson. Continued work on trenches south of B 502 EX. Work began clearing "N" end of railway line embankment "S" of door into B 502. Finished trenches south of B 502 EX. Cotinued clearing "N" end of railway embankment. -
